About This Hike

YOU will get wet, you need to wade across the river on slippery rocks, and to enjoy it, you better be willing to slide down into a water hole. Think through before you sign up.
Tallulah Gorge is one of the most scenic gorge in north Georgia. The sliding rock in the Tallulah State Park is a 40-foot natural rock water slide that ends in a deep swimming hole at the base of Bridal Veil Falls. Accessing it is a "strenuous adventure" rather than a standard hike, requiring a descent of over 1,000 stairs, a river crossing, and a difficult boulder scrambleThere will be Three Waterfalls along Moccasin Creek for this trip:

· Hurricane Falls
· Bridal Veil Falls
· Angelica Falls

We need to arrive at park office before 8am to ensure we get permit into gorge (only 100 permit issued each day).
We will go down to gorge and have fun (slide the water slides and swimming in the water hole, weather permitting) and finish this section of hike before 12:30pm.
